Our services are delivered by a team of experienced and professional career counselors and employer relations specialist. A career counselor is assigned to serve as your consultant to assist you in helping your students be competitive, whether for graduate school or employment.
We share the same goal you have for your students, to equip them with the knowledge, skills and career-related experiences they need to be prepared and competitive when transitioning into graduate school or the 21st century workplace. In addition to career services for students, we can also assist you in developing and incorporating career and employability skill preparation content into your classroom and curriculum.
To equip students with the knowledge, skills and career-related experiences they need to be prepared and competitive when transitioning into the 21st century workplace.
We will provide services to help students choose a career, plan and prepare for his/her job search, and provide opportunities for your student to network and interview with employers. We teach students how to conduct a self-directed job search, which will help them not only when they graduate, but in years to come.
Choosing a career is a process students need to go through — and students go through the stages of this process at different rates of speed.
The steps include:
1. assessing skills, interests, and abilities (this is an important first step to choosing an appropriate career);
2. exploring majors and career options;
3. experimenting with possible career options; and
4. organizing and conducting a job or graduate school search.
