Jump-start Your Career at the 2025 Virtual Statewide Job Fair!

The Florida Career Centers are excited to present the Virtual Statewide Job Fair in May 2025 (date TBD). This event offers a fantastic chance to connect with employers seeking students and alumni for full-time and part-time roles.

Students can begin registering March 1st thru the day of the fair. Once registered for the fair, students can update their profiles for employers and upload a resume. No appointments required, just register and attend the day of the fair to meet with employers via video chat.

Some employers use this forum for screening (and interviews take place afterward) while others conduct phone interviews, video interviews, or schedule in-person interviews during or after the event. There is not a fee for students to participate in the Statewide Job Fair.

No, the Statewide Job Fair is only open to students and alumni from Florida’s twelve state universities.

What technology do I need to participate?

You'll need a computer and internet access. Webcams, avatars, and photos are optional. Most interactions with employers will be through one-on-one video chats, so dress professionally to make a great first impression. Also, ensure your background is free from distractions. If you can't video chat at the time of a request, it's okay to let the employer know.

NOTE: it is acceptable to indicate to an employer that you are unable to video chat if this is not an option for you at the time of the request.

There is not a dress code, but participants should dress professionally for the virtual event, as you would for an in-person job fair. Choose attire that aligns with the industry and company culture you're targeting.
